I've been challenged recently with the full impact of these two verses from Genesis 9.
How many times have I thought that the rainbow was put there as a reminder to ME? So that I would remember that God would never again destroy the earth with a flood?
These verses paint a different story ... God's word tells us that He puts the rainbow in the sky as a reminder to Himself, that never again will He destroy the earth with a flood.
This year as I journey through God's Word I am highlighting verses that reference God's "remembering".
How often does God say that He remembers, or that He will remember?
I guess I shall see ... the excitement is building!
